Pierce Brosnan may find “Salvation” in Detroit this spring

Pierce Brosnan, Ed Harris and Jim Gaffigan, may be spending some time in Michigan this spring. Location scouts for the film Salvation Boulevard visited several locations throughout Detroit last week.

They also spent time at that The University of Detroit Mercy as part of their search for a campus with buildings, rooms and offices that have an Ivy League feel for exterior and interior shots. The university will find out if it will be included in the film in next week or two.

Based on the novel of the same name by Larry Beinhart, Salvation Boulevard is about a private investigator looking into the murder of a professor who then finds himself in a faith-based clash. It will star Brosnan, Harris, Gaffigan. The movie is set to begin shooting in April.
