the hunter

I can’t wait to hear more about this one! I fell in love with Stanley Tucci’s film “Big Night,” not just because of the menu (reason enough, for sure!) but the relationship between the two brothers was so true and so real, as were all the people in it, in their time and place. And if he can do for Westchester what he did for risotto the movie is in good hands, LOL!

If Tucci can write that well to this character the role sounds perfect for Pierce at this point in his career, and with a certain irony attached; he’s always had that slightly “out of time” quality of belonging to the Hollywood of another age. It will be sweet to have him at the center of the film and not just stealing scenes while supporting.

And speaking of supporting, wow, Julianne Moore and Patricia Clarkson! The ladies just couldn’t let him go! Imagine a re-enactment a la “Hearts of Steele.”

Patricia: He’s mine. You can’t have him back. Not yet.

Julianne: Couldn’t remember his lines, but who cares? He’s so-o-o beautiful!

Patricia: We all heard why he couldn’t remember. You were flashing him!

Julianne: Bingo.

And if Tucci can get the money together by next summer or fall, he'll also be writing, producing, and directing his next feature, called "The Hunter." He reveals, "We have Pierce Brosnan, Julianne Moore, Patty Clarkson, and Maggie Smith [attached]. So I'm very excited. I'm hoping we get this together, because it's been a long time coming and I'm dying to do it
